Racelogic PerformanceBox & DriftBox

The PerformanceBox and DriftBox are the latest members of the Racelogic family of products and are based on the same technology as the industry testing standard VBOX.  VBOX is used by almost every motor manufacturer and tire company in the world for testing and evaluation. Companies such as Honda, Ford, GM, BMW, Porsche, Ferrari, Goodyear and Michelin, all use VBOX in testing and development.  

Both the PerformanceBox and DriftBox feature a compact housing with a high performance 10Hz GPS engine with integrated antenna. Data is displayed on the built in screen with backlight and recorded to a SD memory card (video) for review on your PC.  The included analysis software allows graphical analysis of speed, acceleration, braking, cornering, track position, and lap times. You can overlay up to four run files at a time.  These units also include a:

• Performance Mode (video)

  • Acceleration: 0-60, 0-100. Shows time, G-force

  • Braking: 60-0, 100-0. Shows time, distance, G-force

  • Distance: 60’, 1/4mi, 1/2mi, 1mi. Shows time, trap speed

  • Live G-Meter: : Accel, Decel, and cornering G-forces, with max G

• Lap Timing Mode (video)

  • Lap Time Display: Shows current lap, last lap, best lap

  • Split Times: Option to show split time or speed at a split point.

  • Virtual Start/Finish/Split Lines: Using GPS, There is no need for an external beacon or transmitter. Split lines can be easily saved and transferred.

  • Lateral & Longitudinal Gs are recorded

• Power Mode

  • Wheel HP Calculation: Enter your vehicle’s weight and do an acceleration run to estimate wheel horsepower

  • Flywheel HP Calculation: Perform a coast-down test to measure drag, can calculate HP at the flywheel.

• These all in one units do not accept external inputs (like RPM) without the optional Micro Input Module

• The analysis software is not as powerful as what you would get with a DL1.
